Dear Sir: I am a physically fit 54 year old. I have extensive experience in endurance Mtb racing, running, trithlon, and backcountry skiing. Recently I've embarked in mountaineering including a 12 day course on the Ruth Glacier with AMS last May, and recently, a climb of the Kautz ice chute on Rainier. I am preparing for Denali or Foraker next May and thought I would like to try the one day climb of the Grand Teton. I have experience with roped glacier travel, crevasse rescue, and moderate grade ice climbing in the alpine environment. I would like to round that out with intensive rock climbing instruction and simultaneously test my endurance for Foraker. Would it be feasible to arrange a private rock climbing session, followed by an attempt on the Grand in one day? Is it too late to consider this in the latter half of September? I live in Boise, so proximity would allow for some flexibility for weather. Thank You, Andy Forbes
