Exum Friend Pete Absolon Killed in Wind Rivers

NOLS Rocky Mountain director Peter Absolon was killed August 11 while climbing a new route in the Leg Lake Cirque of the Wind River Range.
In the senseless accident, he was struck by a rock trundled by hikers above. More details are available in an 8/29 Casper Star Tribune article and at the NOLS Press Room.
