Sinks Canyon and Wild Iris
Just a three hour drive from Jackson, the Lander region boasts an incredible variety of sport and traditional climbing. Compared to the Tetons, spring typically arrives much earlier, and fall much later, allowing for great climbing when the Teton weather in not ideal.
Eight miles from Lander, Wyoming, Sinks Canyon State Park provides a variety of climbing options.
Wild Iris offers the same high quality sport climbing found in Sinks Canyon but it is a bit higher in the mountains - perfect for hot summer days.
