Devils Tower
Devils Tower is located in the grasslands of northeastern Wyoming and is famous for steep crack climbing. Routes vary in length between one and three pitches and are notable for their consistent difficulty. Even the so-called easy routes are hard. Cracks, bolted faces, chimneys, dihedrals and roofs will all be encountered. The rock is excellent. All descents involve rappels. Exum guides the most difficult routes at the Tower. Please call us to speak to a guide and discuss your options.You can stay in lodging located just outside Devils Tower National Monument, or car camp inside the Monument.
A minimum of two weeks advanced notice is required to book a Devils Tower trip. The trip from Jackson Hole to the Tower usually takes between eight and ten hours. Clients are responsible for camping fees and/or hotel accommodations, and food.
Out of respect for the Native Americans living in this area Devils Tower undergoes a voluntary closure for the month of June. Please plan your visit accordingly.
