Red Rocks

Red Rocks is one of the outstanding fall, winter and spring climbing destinations in North America. Exum Mountain Guides has obtained a 10 day special use guiding permit. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable climbing experience.

Located just 20 miles from the Vegas strip in the serenity of the Mojave Desert, Red Rocks Canyon National Conservation Area is one of the largest and most popular rock climbing areas in the United States.

There are at least 1700 recorded rock climbs from moderate to high in difficulty to choose from. This is one of the few climbing destinations in the world where high quality multi-pitch sport routes are in close proximity to world class traditional routes up to eighteen pitches in length. There are perhaps more classic moderate multi-pitch climbs at Red Rocks than any one place in the country, and maybe the world. The climbing is on some of the highest quality, most aesthetic Aztec Sandstone imaginable. Red Rocks has something for everyone.
