Alpine Mountaineering Seminar

AlpineMTSeminar SantelicesOur Alpine Mountaineering Seminar is scheduled each June when snow is still abundant and the park is uncrowded. It's a beautiful time to be in the Tetons.

The Seminar begins with one day in the valley to assess skill levels and cover basic instruction. On day two, the group will hike to a base camp at the Lower Saddle on the Grand Teton and participate in more instruction that afternoon.  From this camp, the group will choose and attempt one or more climbs based on weather, mountain conditions, and participant requests. Typically we will climb a technical route on Middle Teton.

These four days are a great way for climbing partners to learn important alpine skills and practice climbing together while receiving feedback from our guides.

Most participants will leave this seminar with appropriate knowledge and skills to safely climb on snowy peaks.
Price:
$995 for two climbers.

Seminars can be arranged at private rates for one climber. Call the office for details.
