Climb the Grand Teton

Towering above Jackson Hole at 13,770 feet, the Grand Teton is one of North America's most famous and coveted summits. A climb on this iconic peak is never easy, and a successful ascent is a memorable achievement.

Exum Mountain Guides has guided thousands of climbers up the Grand Teton since the company became a park concession in 1931. No company is more qualified to guide the Grand Teton, and we are committed to providing all participants with a safe and enjoyable experience. Watch the Video!

The majority of our Grand Teton climbers have never climbed prior to arriving at Exum. Prerequisites vary depending on your experience level and whether you are climbing in a group or with a private guide. We recommend two days of instruction and we require all climbers to participate in at least one day of preparation before an attempt on the Grand Teton.
