This single day of instruction is for those who will be climbing the Grand Teton with a private guide, or those with outdoor, multi-pitch climbing experience. Two days of preparation are recommended, but if you can hit the ground running, the necessary skills to climb the Grand Teton can be covered in this low ratio class.

 

You and your guide will quickly review basic skills and then move on to more challenging climbing, allowing you to get the most out of your day. The day will also include rappelling instruction, belaying and rope management practice, and sufficient practice so that you'll be ready to climb the Grand Teton with a private guide.

 

This private class is held most frequently at our Hidden Falls practice area and can also be done at Teton Village.
