Philosophy
Exum strives to be a genuine steward of Grand Teton National Park and the environment as a whole through:
- education of our guides, clients, and the public
- the practice of Leave No Trace ethics specific to our permitted activities
- concerted efforts to reverse the impacts of human presence in the mountains
2005 Initiatives
- Leave No Trace reminders at meetings
- Leave No Trace wipeboard in Exum office
- Weed mitigation on the Hidden Falls trails, with GTNP, TC Weed and Pest, Jenny Lake Boating
- Pee trail at Lower Saddle
- Informal trail restoration in the Moraines and above the headwall
- Friendly reminders to park visitors about Leave No Trace etiquette
