Winter hits the Tetons...hard 11/21/03 With snowfall totals greater than any autumn since 1985, this winter is shaping up to be a great one. Snow has fallen steadily since early November (4 feet at 9,300 feet) creating a relatively stable base layer. This should be a great year to come to the Tetons and join us for backcountry skiing, ski mountaineering, and winter ascents. With continued consistent snow, the solidity of our base layers will only improve and set us up for a relatively low-avalanche-hazard season. Check out our winter offerings.

Snowpack and weather allows for early climbs 5/29/03 Despite exceptional late winter snowfall, the Tetons have undergone unseasonably warm weather over the past week, which has densified the snowpack and cleared off many of the classic climbing routes.
