City of Rocks National Monument is a 50 square mile area in central Idaho clustered with hundreds of granite towers. Internationally famed for its magnificent rock, sporting thousands of routes of any difficulty, the "City" is an ideal place for honing your climbing skills in a relaxed high desert atmosphere. Exum offers both custom private and scheduled group climbing trips to the City of Rocks.
Routes vary in length between one and six pitches and encompass all genres of climbing including cracks, bolted faces, slabs, chimneys, and roofs. We enjoy energizing picnic lunches and then after a long day of climbing, we return to our car camp for a well-earned dinner and relaxation.
