If you were thinking of sending the rest of your family off horseback riding while you go climbing, think again. One of the funnest ways to spend time with your family while on vacation in Jackson Hole is to spend a day or two with an Exum guide climbing the easy to moderate rocks near Hidden Falls. There is perhaps no more positive family bonding experience than to have members working together belaying eachother up a mountainside.

Family privates are offered every day during the spring, summer, and fall. Usually, we meet at the Exum office between 8:00 and 9:00 am and take the boat across Jenny Lake to the rocks near Hidden Falls.

We start the day with some fun bouldering practice to learn the basics of moving over rock, and then tailor the rest of the day to the abilities and desires of the group, covering a variety of activities from belaying, to rappelling, to Tyrolean traverses, to top-roping, to multi-pitch climbs.

The per-person family private rates apply only to families with children under age 14. Please check our current rates for this program.
