Most Experience Exum has provided mountain adventures for beginning, intermediate, and advanced climbers since 1926, the year Paul Petzoldt began guiding in the Tetons. In 1931, his colleague, Glenn Exum, made the famous first ascent of the ridge on the Grand Teton that bears his name.

Best Routes Exum is the only guide service permitted by the National Park Service to guide all peaks and routes in the Teton Range year round, and the world famous Owen-Spalding and Exum Routes on the Grand Teton during July and August.

Highest Base Camp The Exum Grand Teton Hut is on the Lower Saddle at 11,650 feet (see photo), the traditional high-altitude base camp and the best location for successful climbs.

Personal Attention Exum classes and climbs are limited to small numbers. Private Guides are available at extra charge for any climb.
